We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please do not submit a form on this site.
We process this information on the basis of your consent, given when you choose to submit a form, and on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and developing the product. You may withdraw consent at any time by asking us to delete your details.
Web3Forms relays all form submissions to our email inbox. Netlify hosts this website. Google Fonts serves the typefaces used here. These providers operate servers in multiple regions, including the United States and the European Union, which means your information may be stored or processed outside your own country. Netlify also hosts the small server function and storage used for app licence verification described in section 4; no other third party receives that data. Your email address is never added to a third-party marketing list and we do not sell or share it.
The app is designed so that your training data stays on your device. It requires no account and contains no advertising or third-party tracking SDKs.
Camera. The app uses your device camera (or a second paired device's camera, or an IP camera you connect) to detect laser impacts on your target in real time. Camera frames are processed on the device and immediately discarded — they are never stored, never uploaded, and never accessible to us. No photo or video is saved unless you explicitly choose to save or export one to your own gallery.
Training data. Sessions, scores, split times, drill settings and calibration values are stored locally on your device only. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes them.
Microphone and voice commands (optional). Certain confirmations can be answered by voice. When you use this feature, the app passes the audio to your device's built-in speech recognition service: with an internet connection, that service may process your speech in the cloud (for example, Google's speech service, under Google's own privacy terms); without a connection, recognition runs entirely on the device. The app itself never records, stores or transmits audio — it receives only the recognised text, acts on it, and discards it. The microphone is active only while a voice prompt is listening, never in the background, and voice features can be switched off entirely in settings. Spoken guidance (text-to-speech) is generated on your device.
Duo Pair mode. Two of your devices exchange the camera feed and drill state directly over your local Wi-Fi network. This traffic goes device-to-device on your own network — it does not pass through the internet or any server of ours.
IP Camera mode. The stream address you enter (which may include a username and password for your camera) is stored on your device only and is used solely to connect to your camera on your network. The video feed is processed locally and is never relayed to us.
Crash reports. If the app crashes, a diagnostic report may be sent to us containing the device model, operating system version, app version and a technical stack trace. These reports exist solely to fix stability problems. They contain no name, no email address, no training data and no content from your camera or microphone, and they are not linked to your identity.
Google Play services. The app uses Google Play's integrity service to confirm it is a genuine, unmodified installation obtained from Google Play; this involves a technical attestation exchanged with Google under Google's privacy policy. Purchases, if offered, are processed entirely by Google Play — we never receive your payment card details.
Licence verification. After Google's check succeeds, the app sends a small verification request to our own server (hosted on Netlify). This request contains a one-way hashed identifier derived from your device's app-scoped Android ID, the result of Google's check, the app version, and your cumulative training time in the app. Our server uses this to issue a short-lived licence token to your device, to detect copies of the app that were not installed from Google Play, to enforce beta usage limits, and — if a free trial is offered in future — to measure the trial period from first use. The hashed identifier cannot be reversed to identify you or your device, is not combined with any other information, and is not used for advertising, profiling, or tracking across apps. We retain it for 12 months after the last verification, then delete it. Without an internet connection the app continues to work for several days between verifications.
The app is intended for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18.
You may request access to the information we hold about you, correction of anything inaccurate, deletion of your details, or a copy of your data in a portable format. Contact us via the Contact page and we will respond within 30 days.
We handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws. If you are in the European Union or United Kingdom, the rights described above reflect your rights under the GDPR; if you are in California, they reflect your rights under the CCPA. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you may complain to the data protection authority in your region.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be notified by email to anyone on our beta list.
