Simulated Long Range
No camera-based training app simulates external ballistics. LaserLock's Marksman drill gives you an aim target and a real target — the gap between them is the ballistic hold-off, computed live from your ammunition profile and the wind state. Hold where the maths says, break the shot, and the app scores the resultant against the real target.
Per-cartridge drop and wind-drift data, linearly interpolated across distance, with firearm categories from handgun to sniper. Pick your ammo, and the hold-off is computed for it — not a generic guess.
Direction modes from steady through gradual shift to change-per-shot (cyclic or random); strength modes from steady through gusting and gradual build-up to random-per-shot. A compass needle and spoken wind calls ("South west, gusting") keep you honest — or grab the live sliders and drive conditions yourself mid-drill.
Curve animations draw the simulated flight path after the shot, so the correction isn't abstract — you watch what the wind did, then adjust the next hold.
Results reported in MOA with selectable scope click values, imperial or metric — the same language your turrets speak, so dry-fire corrections translate directly to the range.
Combine it with Duo Mode's real distances and Double Tap pairs, and you have long-range fundamentals practice — wind reading, hold-off, follow-up discipline — with zero ammunition cost and instant scoring.
